Welcome to our new 1331 website. (we're still building it!)

Well! We don’t have to tell you, it’s been one hell of a year, but we are still here, and ready to get going again. We will be opening up our doors (outside doors) on the 12th April 2021.

Sadly, we no longer have the little cinema on the top floor which was due for a big refurb, but we felt it may not be viable with all the restrictions and its size, but we have taken the projector and speakers and fitted them in the lounge bar. So we still have a cinema of sorts with a big drop-down screen for the Euros. Yee Haa!!

So, here’s the plan.

Monday 12th April

  • We will be opening all our outside areas, most of which is covered and heated.
  • We will be open every day from 8am with last orders at 23.00
  • Tables are restricted to groups of maximums of 6 people & will be table service.
  • We are taking bookings for tables up until 6pm then we are welcoming walk-ins.
  • We don’t want to restrict people to two slots because some people just want to stay all night
  • Our menu will be reduced due to lack of overall capacity, but don’t worry our famous Chipchoes will still be on the menu. Our breakfast menu will be served from 8am – 5pm every day.
  • We will still have our 2-4-1 cocktail menu & full range of wines & draught.

Monday 17th May

  • Hopefully we will be able to open all our areas again.
  • Tables are restricted to groups of maximums of 6 people or 2 households & will be table service.
  • We will have a full menu including a set menu offer, & the return of the Sunday Roast.
  • Our very popular Tuesday night SpeedQuiz will return on the 18Th May
  • The Pool Room will open again for all members.
  • We can start taking get togethers of up to 30 people in our outside area.

Monday 21st June

  • All restrictions lifted and full steam ahead. Hopefully we’ll all be vaccinated, safe to keep calm & carry on; Oh & England win the Euros. (Semi Final will do)

On the 12th April we are looking forward to opening up our outside areas. Most of it is covered & heated, so don't worry about the weather. We are taking bookings from 8am to 6pm. You can stay as long as you like & you don't have to purchase a meal to stay. Only tables of 6 allowed; remember!

Our Grape Lane Apartments are back open again!

From the 12th April we are looking forward to inviting you to stay in one of our four fantastic self contained apartment. A 1 minute walk from the York Minster; you couldnt be anymore central.
